Pros

Culture within teams is good. Lower level managers do what they can for their teams. Unlimited PTO is flexible but not perfect.

Cons

New leadership has made big changes, which is something new, but they have not been good. Admitting that managers were purposely kept in the dark about layoffs is not a way to build any kind of trust back. Dishonest about maintaining remote opportunities. Recent layoffs cut teams seemingly at random, and after stating that the company is not understaffed in any area, new openings to replace the cut roles are all hybrid. New hires will require training time to meet the same skill and experience as those who were cut, leaving teams struggling and overworked in the meantime with no pay increase. Claims of room for growth are not substantiated in career or training opportunities. Pay changes have to be fought for with any internal movements. The company confuses merit and cost of living raises, and salaries are below market value.

Thank you for sharing your perspective. We know communication and clarity matter, especially during times of change. We're continuing Town Halls and Q&As to provide more direct access to senior leadership. While future hiring is centered in Austin, Togetherwork remains a hybrid company that includes both in-office and remote team members. We're also updating manager tools and training to support fair workload distribution and work-life balance.

Pros

A number of the reviews on here do not reflect my experience whatsoever - I have nothing but positive things to say. I enjoy the leaders and their vision, I appreciate having the autonomy to do my job in the way that works best for me, and I genuinely like my teammates. My days are busy (but not unmanageable), the work is interesting, and for the first time in many years, I truly enjoy going to work. I am newer to the team, so I could see how those who lived through the chaos of the merger might not be happy with changes. But as a newcomer, I feel the positive momentum and am excited where this company will go in the next few years.

Cons

Benefits are pretty good, but there's always room for improvement.

Pros

I’ve genuinely enjoyed my time at Togetherwork. The people are supportive, approachable, and willing to help each other succeed. Even in a remote environment, I’ve felt connected to my team and valued and supported under the current leadership team. My manager has been a tremendous resource, providing guidance, encouragement, and opportunities for professional growth. One thing that stands out is the company’s willingness to invest in employees and provide opportunities to learn new skills, take on additional responsibilities, and explore areas of interest outside of your day-to-day role. The flexibility, work-life balance, and benefits are also major positives. It’s a place where hard work is recognized and where employees are trusted to do their jobs well.

Cons

The company has undergone significant change over the past few years, and periods of transformation can be challenging for employees to navigate. Changes in processes, priorities, and organizational structure have required teams to adapt quickly, which hasn't always been easy. While change can create uncertainty in the moment, many of these efforts have been positive from a broader organizational perspective. Today, the company benefits from strong leadership, a clear vision, and a focus on continuous improvement, which has helped create positive momentum for the future.
