The firm is small 13-15 people so there is an opportunity for you to do several types of projects as it pertains to healthcare. > The firm also involves you in areas of learning cost estimates, analyzing and responding to shop drawings, and a little bit of spec-writing. > It can be a fast-paced environment at times but it helps teach efficiency. It's an open office environment great for communication with team members. < Sometimes there is field work and you get a part to work with the client or visit a site depend on the job and the need. >Because its mostly VA work, the glitz and glamour type of healthcare projects are scarce, but they do exist from time to time. >Project deadlines can be come quick however, if you time manage your pace you'll get the flow really easy to meet them. >Sometimes you may be expected to work overtime to get a project out, however that's rare. > Office environment aesthetics is very vanilla for an architectural firm, however that could change.
