Pros

It used to be filled with potential and great people. The best thing that happened to me was being laid off.

Cons

Layoff, after layoff, after layoff... The company blames on the market. The reality is their failures are their own fault. Tomo entered a business they knew absolutely nothing about, and refused to listen to those with experience. They mismanaged the millions of dollars they raised and spent on frivolous things like asinine offices in inconvenient locations, trips to palm springs, luxury items in the offices, flashy items for realtors, etc. The "look" was more important than the business. The culture speaks for itself... the good people move on and don't stay. If it's so great and wonderful, why aren't they there? There is a perfection culture that demands no mistakes. People walk on eggshells in fear of losing their jobs. Some people were allowed to work remote, and others weren't. It was often the lower paid employees that couldn't work remote because "we believe in collaboration." Zoom in the office is better than zoom at home I guess... The mortgage process Tomo claims to have "reinvented" is held together by bubblegum. The purchase close on time rate is a miracle on what little volume they have. I saw my colleagues in other departments in hysteria over loans and situations they couldn't control.
