Pros
Support Roles are salaried, and our managers actively discourage working overtime/ working for free Don't have to work with customers, just work with people inside the company as a tool for success Everyone in support dislikes the grindset so support roles are a safe haven from the rest of company culture Tasks vary throughout the day, so you could be collaborating with teammates, or just working on projects and listening to music Small department, so your work makes a difference
Cons
#grindset mentality A lot of people we make reports for don't understand the basics of pricing so there is a lot of handholding Our clients (brokers) can be really pushy despite us having clear guidelines on things like same day turnaround Every employee has to go through sales training, which is an incredibly boring waste of time They consider giving you maybe 2 weeks paid vacation as "work life balance" (work life balance is ok in this position because we leave our desks at 5 and don't need to think about our jobs until the next day, but PTO isn't work life balance, it's the bare minimum)
