Pros
Some great people to work with at Totally.
Meaningful company to work for in terms of delivering patient care with the NHS.
Once upon the time the business was thriving, due to better leadership and decision making.
Cons
Lack of accountability by some in the Exec team and senior management. Too much short term decision making, we became reactive rather than being proactive.
Poor operational decision making and poor use of cash has led to Totally's downfall. Really sad considering how hard people worked.
Through acquistions senior roles that came across kept doing their own thing, there was no true cohesion at the top.
As a whole senior management weren't always really there for staff, especially when it mattered. Either someone had the ear of senior management and were favouritised, otherwise you and your concerns could be ignored.
I worked with WL as CEO when the business was doing great and when it started to fail. As a person she was kind and would have your back through personal issues. Unfortunately I think too much power and control was given to some of her direct reportees who led the business on the wrong path with their decision making. Yes, maybe there was something more she could have done then but it took more than one person to sink Totally.
