Pros

Start up so there is lots of ways to wear different hats in a multitude of roles through out the company.

Cons

The CEO always has lots of different ideas for products and takes the company on many twists and turns. The staff is always confused on the direction of the company and what the actual offerings are. Workflows to support employee workload are ignored from the top down. Along with most companies these days they've had massive layoffs and gave zero severance to the people they laid off.

Pros

The talent at Touchcast is absolutely amazing. There are dedicated team members who put in much more that what is expected on a day to day basis and have proven to pivot and shift into new ideas and company focus. Touchcast is a 100% remote, global company, providing the flexibility to perform your work practically anywhere.

Cons

There is a systemic focus issue with Touchcast and finding their identity. The leadership team has great visions and wants to be at the forefront of innovation, however this lacks product identity, in turn, product revenue and growth. A project will get started and once the project becomes close to launch, this is the time period where the efforts stop and the company focus is shifted to the newest trend. This causes instability as there are periods of growth, then suddenly a cut to the workforce to scale back due to financials. This issue has occurred numerous times over the years and there has been a lack of confidence with the team, ultimately resulting in loss of great talent and a retention issue. Additionally with the need to move fast, there is no sense of company culture, as this was once established but was abandoned.
