Work colleagues were very supportive and engaging to work with. Mission of the organization was meaningful. I enjoyed the trainings on work place culture, communication, collaboration, etc.

Difficult to move up at the organization as the number of roles are limited and there’s a strong employee retention.

The people are definitely the best part of the organization. They’re very kind and it’s a fun environment. Many people are friends outside the office. The work is interesting and fun. There’s a sense of purpose in the work. Depending on your role, there’s an opportunity to see cool parts of the state and work on fun projects.

Leadership. Led by an all-white leadership team, many of whom have been there for 15+ years. Processes are so slow. There’s lots of talk about progress, but no actions. Office doesn’t support staff growth or development, which has led to a lot of turnover in the past year. Very few opportunities to grow, and leadership plays favorites on who they promote.
