Company owns by VC (STG), with a clear mission - runing a security company with professional business guys - creating many short term planning, you dont need to plan for long future - cost control and high growth Many vacancies, allow you to climb up if you know how to choose a right boss and get relations.
Cons
1. Technology is legacy. Company already lay off many R&D staff since acquisition. They dont have knowledgeable staff and you will see company keep EOL products in coming years. 2. Company is politic. Trellix is a company with blue blood and keep kicking out the red. If you want to stay in the company, relationship is more important than your performance. 3. Resources are not evenly distributed. Within the same job role same location, FE salary much higher than MFE salary. Stock option only goes to management. 4. Un respectful lay off process - Same day notice termination. Company does not provide gardening leave and terminate all system accounts, insurance and medical benifits in the same day. - Quite impressive termination package. First time ever, termination package following local labour law which is only 1/5 compare with previous packages. Company also force staff to sign withint 2 days, or consider to give up the package. - HR response slow after termination. They dont want to communicate with you. 5. SKO always organize in Chinese New Year. Chinese staff always stuggle to choose from work (meeting your boss in SKO) or family (celebrate a new start with friends and relatives) every year.
