Pros
- The immediate team that I worked with consisted of very knowledgeable and capable people. - The ability to work from home.
Cons
- The CEO is an overgrown frat-boy who should not be taken seriously. - Executive management is exceptionally tone-deaf. - Pay is far below market average. - The company is not doing well financially, and as such has been hiring solely overseas employees for a fraction of the expense of US-based employees. - No job security, or upward mobility. Unless you're overseas. - Extremely low morale. - Departments are frustratingly siloed. Inter-departmental collaboration is practically non-existent. - When asked how US-based employees can stay motivated when every open position is off-shored, the CEO responded by essentially saying "If you don't think we can win, then you should find another job". Then to add insult to injury, they held a 'career advancement seminar', which could be summarized as "Take on more work, for zero more pay, and maybe you'll get recognized".
