Pros

Hybrid nature relaxes the travel issues.

Cons

Highly micromanaging senior management. And if you have any plans of preparing for CFA or Masters alongside, FORGET ABOUT IT, incredibly non-compliant towards those. Your entire worklife depends on how you play your cards and not your actual quality of work. Don't wag your tail around the senior management and you're on their hit list.

Pros

Learning experience Competitive salary Team bonding activities

Cons

Work from home is not applicable for all, they will act like they are doing a favour on you by offering wfh. Work load is mostly a lot Toxic culture Micro management, literally on a personal level, and may be very uncomfortable and unprofessional at some point Performance review are more to target you and not make you perform better or help you. No flexibility of wfh, work life balance or understanding about one's family responsibilities, commitments etc. Too demanding for extra working hours Unneccessary exageration of importance of a work, prioritizing all tasks for no reason and extra deadlines No planning for executing activities and sometimes chaos while executing as it may not align, blame will definitely come on analysts Partiality towards other teams more and less for support team Unprofessional, managers cannot plan things properly, they need to develop their skills in being better managers and team leaders, engage in politics and play blame games on executives.

Pros

It’s a KPO, not an Investment Bank. The role is heavily focused on PowerPoint and presentation work (~70%), with limited exposure to financial modeling (~30%). Experienced professionals may find the scope limited and unrewarding; the role is better suited for freshers looking to build a base.

Cons

“It’s disheartening to see companies hire individuals at a promised CTC, only to downgrade it after two months of so-called ‘training,’ claiming the need for further improvement. If someone truly wasn’t ready, why were they hired in the first place? Unfortunately, I’m not the only one facing this — there are many others in the same situation. It feels like a strategy to bring in capable talent at lower costs, which raises questions about fairness and intent. What’s even more upsetting is how employees who’ve genuinely contributed are made to leave quietly, without so much as a formal farewell or acknowledgment. It’s sad to see people walk away from a place they once gave their best to — with no sense of closure, just silence.”
