Pros

For a bank that wants to innovate there’s a lot of work ahead which equals job security. Benefits and pay are good. Personally I’ve been fortunate to have a great manager which can overcome the tough spots. During the merger it’s been cool to watch the transformation to a new bank, although it’s not without its growing pains.

Cons

Sadly, after six years of being here and seeing how the proverbial sausage is made I don’t have confidence in the future of the company. When I was hired I was told that this company would drain my soul. Sadly this has been true and I will be quitting within the next year regardless of whether or not I have another job lined up. I simply don’t have confidence our leadership is up to the task. The level of ineptness has been astonishing at times. I’ve spent a good portion of my career here and wish the company the best. That said, with the mass migration of top talent over the past year and continued issues in the tech space I don’t think it’s looking good. I predict they will lose massively to the fintechs.
