If you are lucky enough to be in a district with other ESC classrooms you may have some support there.

If you get put in a district without any other ECS classrooms it is like being out on a desert island with little to no support. Classrooms are packed to the brim with students and some students are incorrectly placed which causes further problems behaviorally and academically. Little to no time for planning. I would recommend new teachers to get a job working in a school district and not with the county ESC. You will have access to a lot more resources, support and community at a school district.
