      I love the students we work with everyday.

      Cons

      The administration at the top is terrible. The lack of support that they have, even though they pretend to, if very off putting. They truly don’t understand the population of children we work with and lack the understanding of the actual work we do everyday.

      Pros

      You’re colleagues (if you are lucky enough to be on site with other county units) are supportive and great. Related services (speech, OT, Psych) are hands on and supportive.

      Cons

      Administration, including supervisors are not supportive. They cram a bunch of high needs students in a room and provide little to no resources to help them or you. Admin only cares about the money coming in so they will put a student in an overfilled classroom regardless of what is best for all students.

      The TCESC admin is terrible to the acutely employees that are working with the students. They try and run our classrooms as a business and not keep in mind what is best for the students success.
