      Pros

      The culture, the passion, the innovation, the dynamic, the synergy, the risk, the reward, the pets, the people, the MISSION.

      Cons

      Disenchantment, budgeting, gossip, doubt, politics, miscommunication, entitlement! Trupanion has been a spring board for many careers, so anyone on here writing about how terrible it is and discourages someone on the outside to join really should be on the outside of our organization doing something better with your time and energy. Yes, we've struggled with communication and change and communications about change and yes, we're experiencing tons of growing pains yes, but at least we're growing! Be a part of it or simply part from it...

      Pros

      Very good benefits, especially PTO / Great coworkers with shared "values" (outside of upper mgmt) / Remote Help pets every day

      Cons

      The co has become another typical corporate greed - no longer cares about customer or staff experience, only the bottom line. Charges premium prices for not so premium insurance, with progressive cut backs in coverage yet continuous policy increases in much too large of percentage (as an employee, I could never afford my own plan). They used to be fantastic, progressive and all-inclusive. Now they keep hide their true behaviors behind a cloak of "transparency" and have lost sight of their own values.
