Pros

colleague are generally nice, however everyone is afraid of the boss, thus there is an atmosphere of uncertainty and fear of getting scolded. This is a family run business, with the mother as the boss. They are very successful and profitable with good contracts from the industry, however, they are very stingy especially towards the staff. They would underpay the staff salary by 20% below market rate, no 13th month pay, no company bonus, no or little increment and they would even charge the staff for using the pantry

Cons

Management who is the owner of the company, is very demeaning. She would not only scold and shout at the staff badly but purposefully humiliate them publically. A humiliation session could last for an hour or so. This is a common occurs that can happens 2-3 times a week. The turnover rate thus is very high in this company, 3-5 people leaves the company a month. Everything in the company is very messy. The project planning department does not have a consistent plan as the boss keep changing her mind on things and keep wanting to add things. Thus new instructions, systems and paper work are constantly being passed down which confuses everyone. And if you make a mistake, you will be scolded by management. This is a terrible place to work in, the average staff last only 1 month. The people who stay in this company sadly, cant get a job elsewhere thus they endure the abuse from the management until they can find a job outside.

Pros

Opportunity to gain exposure to HR and administrative duties.

Cons

Extremely high and concerning staff turnover. While reviewing HR records, it was very noticeable that many employees had resigned after short periods of employment. Apart from one long-serving employee, most staff appeared to come and go frequently, which raises concerns about long-term staff retention. The CEO’s management style can be very aggressive. There were instances where she raised her voice, shouted at staff, and banged on the table during discussions. Communication from management can feel disrespectful and intimidating, creating a stressful working environment. The overall office atmosphere may be very high pressure, which may not be suitable for employees who prefer a respectful and supportive workplace culture.
