Pros

- Ship to millions - Full remote

Cons

- Extremely top-down leadership. Major calls are made by a small inner circle with little input from the people doing the work, and direction can flip overnight. - Senior hires come largely from leadership's previous network rather than an open process, creating a clear in-group and sidelining existing staff. - Very high turnover. People churn out constantly, institutional knowledge leaves with them, and teams live in a permanent rebuild loop. - No coherent product strategy. Lots of simultaneous initiatives and shifting priorities with no clear thesis tying them together. - Poor work-life balance in any role leadership cares about. Always-on expectations, late-night messages, weekend work. - Politics over substance. Being right technically doesn't protect you; what matters is who has leadership's ear, and blame gets shifted freely.

Pros

Met some great software engineers that care about their jobs, but most leave to better places

Cons

If you want to bury your career, this is the place to be. The CEO is incompetent and clearly new to the space. Decision-making is nonexistent, and the product team is one of the worst in the industry, leaving the company lightyears behind competitors. Salaries are abysmal, and HR works hard to keep them that way. Only a handful of people enjoy the financial perks of working in Web3, while the rest of us are treated like we're irrelevant. Promotions? Forget it. Raises? low. Bonuses? Don't get your hopes up. This place is like working in a fast-food chain—uninspiring, repetitive, and thankless. Unless you're willing to do 10x the work, you’ll never get noticed. The company is cheap, stagnant, and on its way to being forgotten by the industry.

Pros

My direct manager and the other people I worked with were awesome. Great, smart people and go cared about building great things despite the parent company looming over them with all their baggage.

Cons

Be ready for poor guidance and leadership from the very young and inexperienced CEO. She worked her way up through the Binance ranks and is pretty much a puppet for the Binance CEO. She can never decide what the operational model is and pivots from one strategy to another based on what the Binance CEO tells her. She uses many buzz words to sound competent but in meetings will defer to other people to make the main decision so she technically won’t ever fail. Speaking of failure l, if you mess up your out. She will tout a company built on being truthful and transparent and owning mistakes but if you admit to a mistake you are punished. Always need to list your accomplishments for the week and what you will accomplish in the next week. If you don’t succeed you will be reprimanded and potentially replaced. Always looking for ways to fire people. Also, they have no real benefits and do that tell you that until your fully onboarded. Didn’t take a day off in 6 months due to so much work.
