Pros
I haven't left a review since I was working for Healthcare Computing, so thought I'd post one after I've left as I saw a couple of sudden positive reviews that seem far too good to be true. I will always stand by the words that Healthcare computing is an excellent company to put your foot in the door of the world of IT, but that's it.
Cons
I decided to leave the company after a couple years of service due to a range of factors such as new employees joining were on so much higher then people that have been in service for many years. Not to mention that because I was very good at my job, it was meant that I was blocked at every single potential promotion, and those with less experience were always selected as they were in the favourite circle and I wasn't. Everything we did was tracked in terms of call volumes, and you were bullied into applying a fix within the first few minutes of a call. Workload was insanely high with very little respect from management. The management structure is very much biast, and based on favourtism, if you're in the circle, you'll get promoted. If not, your seen as expendandable. There were several issues at HCC, low staff morale, and nothing was done to address this, this lead to half the service team walking away. I never felt respected or appreciated for what I did. I'd go as far as saying that I was taken for granted. I'm pretty sure the move to an EOT was just so the directors could get richer if I'm honest while normal staff were suffering.
