Pros

My team and immediate management was phenomenal.

Cons

The boy's club mentality was OK at first, I get it, we're in a STEM field. The predominance of men in the work place is just a fact. But they made no effort in rectifying this. They talk big (actually stealing almost word for word a comment I wrote in their feedback system on how they were going to fix the sexism issue in the company) and from what I have heard, nothing has changed. Everything is superficial at best, because they truly do not even care about the issue to fix it. There seems to be an unwritten rule that if you are not male or pander to their masculinity then you must be let go or must not reach higher than a Management position. And those lucky few females who are Managers don't often stay one for long before they are demoted, removed from having offices, and the like. Work done by female employees is clearly only done by their male counterparts or managers, from upper management perspective. And many of them are reminded of what the female employees are actually doing, but this information is easily forgotten. Those women who are currently in power are currently figureheads or they just push the agenda for the male upper management. And if you don't really care about the ultra-casual sexism, there's more. The business practices are quite shady, in my opinion, seeing some things from the billing standpoint of the company. Billing big company names over hours for work that was not done, or not done well. Spending is outrageous. There were layoffs because the company did not have enough work but multiple upper management positions were brought in (no one really even understands their purpose, and from the looks of it, nothing actually gets done in that respect). So it makes it appear that it was merely, a friend needs a job and these lower people are "expendable". The benefits are atrocious. No vision, and the medical benefits you do get are subpar. I believe they barely meet minimum requirements. If you are at the company, get your experience and get out. Because you are likely grossly underpaid. The only reason I was there so long was because my immediate group was phenomenal. There were instances of male managers having full blown swearing tantrums when something was said that they did not agree with, creating an incredibly volatile working environment. On top of this, the Management is vengeful. They have an anonymous feedback system and goes out of their way to try and figure out who wrote what because of something they disagree with. This makes me want to give "Senior Management" a 0 on the star scale but that isn't possible. Overall, I find the company to be toxic, and I would not be surprised if they closed shop within the next few years.

Pros

The everyday team member employees are great people to work with.

Cons

Bogus hybrid policy where most meetings are teams meetings regardless if you're in office or not. this entire policy was created to save value to a Pre-Covid office space that is 90% empty. Management forced the local employees to fill out ADA forms to remain fully remote while hiring fully remote employees that have no physical office location near them with no ADA Form required for full remote access Management feeds off employees looking to make a positive impact by agreeing to additional work tasks and projects without providing any meaningful recognition, promotions or raises. they provide annual merit increases that equate to below the annual inflation threshold. (Less than 5%) rendering them useless "raises" Management spends time "restructuring" and laying off employees expecting all their workload to be passed on to the workers remaining with little insight, training, or pay increases that creates a burnout
