Work is easy. Some physical labor, but not back breaking.
Cons
No management. Of any kind. There's 1 manager and he isn't there half the time or if he is he's on the phone making personal calls, because nobody above him monitors what's going on. There's no inventory control so every job you start gets stopped and set aside for days or weeks as you wait for inventory to catch up to the shop. There's no production schedule or even a work schedule. Literally every holiday they come and ask the day before for people to come in. If you work a weekend or holiday they cheat you out of overtime pay even if you check and tell them to fix it they'll just not do it and then claim "sorry, you should have told me sooner". Constant revolving door of employees, every other week someone is fired, laid off, or quits. There is no interview process, just whoever applies first gets hired. There's only about 15-20 people max, but most of them either work part time in the office area or work from home. There is no safety standards. Fire exits are blocked with machinery and piles of junk, you have to climb over boxes and garbage to get to your work station, and there's bird and rat poop everywhere because, despite being a company that literally makes doors, not one single door in the entire building actually works or shuts properly. Every product has to be disassembled and rebuilt 3 or 4 times because nothing is engineered. Just slap it together and try to force it to work. No operating procedures or work flow at all either. Oh and the best part, the cleaning company refuses to clean the bathrooms in the shop area, and the company refuses to buy cleaning supplies, so it looks like a deranged truck stop bathroom in the middle of a war zone. I don't know how it stays in operation. For every 40 hours you work you accomplish 5 hours of actual legitimate work. The rest of the time is moving piles of garbage from one corner to another or redoing work because of engineering mistakes.
