A friendly environment where people work hard and have a great time in the process. From the CEO on down, everyone makes an effort to know everyone else. First names are used and pleasantries are exchanged throughout the day. It makes for a nice working environment.

Performance reviews and pay raises aren't automatic.

20 years ago this was a spectacular facility. Staff was like family and truly cared for the patients. That is far from the case now. Clinical director is kind, caring and compassionate and knows recovery. That's the only good.

HR is unapproachable. She pretends to be thoughtful and caring, maybe she is on some level, but the fangs come out when she is near Cathy, she is a minion of the CEO, who is so mad at the world because she is in "recovery" that she literally treats everyone like garbage. Don't open the windows, she doesn't like how it makes the building look. Don't move the blinds, she likes them all symmetrical. Don't go through the VIP door, even though you just want to get in the building because the wind is whipping in the freezing cold. Don't plan on getting up the hill in the winter because she would rather get an extra year out of the asphalt driveway, then to use rock salt on it and risk wearing it out.
