Pros

- Coffee & Water - OK Location

Cons

- 9 HR WORKDAYS: Turn-Key Systems STRICTLY adheres to California law of one 10 minute break per 3 hours, and 1 hour of UNPAID lunch. 8:30a - 5:30p, a 45 hour work week paid as a 40 hour work week. I had several hours deducted from my paycheck for taking too many bathroom breaks and from coming back from lunch 10-20 mins late several times. You're required to carry an electronic key fob that tracks your time down to the second. Felt like I was working at McDonalds. - HORRIBLE PAY: I was paid BELOW HALF the market rate of a Mid-Level PHP developer in San Diego. - NO CAREER GROWTH: Small company, extreme lack of funds, tenured irreplaceable managers. - INACCURATE JOB DESCRIPTION: I applied to the original job listing as a Mid-Level PHP Developer but on my offer letter they reduced my title to PHP Developer. Job ended up being replacing images, text, and videos on several Wordpress websites 60% of time. Making python scripts for random stuff 20% of time. Inventorying old websites 10% of time. Configuring websites and computer 10% of time. - CONDESCENDING MANAGER: Manager spoke to coworker and I on occasion with demeaning tone. Gasped often and was generally frustrated. Sometimes became irritated if you asked for clarification. Very poor management skills as I jumped from project to project up to 5 times daily waiting for next task to be assigned or clarified. Spoke poorly about her direct reports and former employees to me on several occasions.

Pros

Nice balance between calls and other tasks. Lots to do, days went quick.

Cons

Can be hectic with the demands given. Still balanced all the same, however.

Pros

Difficult opportunity for commission. No further pros.

Cons

Misleading, borderline fraudulent, cold leads. This is not real estate investment consulting, this is sales of a misleading product with no guarantee for clients. You sell a series of products in a step by step format starting at $900 all the way up to $3000+. Your job is to call leads, that they claim to be warm, non-stop all day in the hopes that they answer. When they do answer, you have to grow a connection with them to the point where they are sold on the product even though the success rate is <5%. Now, that is the art of sales, using your skillset to successfully deliver a product; in this case the product is not as promised. You tell clients that they need to continuously follow a system that this one guy created and convince them that even though they are living on social security, for example, their investment is good for the long run. In reality, it's a money draining system and just another shell for a pyramid scheme. They say the leads are warm, but you realize that after the 9th time they forward you call to voicemail, you are continuously borderline harassing clients into picking up the phone so that they'll spend $5k + to join a system with a small success rate. Work environment is awkward. Management sounds uneducated. You have no extensive knowledge of what is being sold, just as a blind salesman. I would not recommend this. There are plenty of other sales position in San Diego that can offer you a stress free work environment. Do not recommend.
