If you’re an RBT your PTO is paid out at the non-billable rate which is $12. Your training is also a $12 an hour and none of this disclosed to you in your offer letter or the employee handbook. Poor management so turnover rate is extremely high, it’s so bad that RBTs stick around longer than BCBAs. Buildings are constantly falling apart but owner does nothing while buying more clinics. A girl put a client in an illegal hold and received a promotion.

The owner couldn’t care less about the kids and staff and shows continually that she only cares about the money. The facility is rundown, there’s no budget for reinforcements for the kids. The owner puts the BCBAs in a position to spend their money on reinforcements for the clients essentially without any promise for reimbursement. There’s really not any good training program so the quality of therapy isn’t up to par. BCBAs and RBTs are overworked with difficult caseloads. There’s no money to buy essentials like toilet paper, no incentives, and medical insurance is expensive. They won’t pay RBTs the same rate for admin and there’s limited admin time. It’s just not a good work culture overall. There’s no overtime or growth opportunities and consistently understaffed. The managers are not capable of doing their jobs with everything the owner piles onto them since she’s too cheap to just hire more staff. Overall don’t work here unless you want to cause yourself undue stress.
