Pros

Be a part of an organization that provides patients with cutting edge research and technology. I work with nationally-ranked doctors and clinical teams who restore hope and save lives.

Cons

Non-clinical employees receive the short end of the stick. Turnover is ridiculously high. Compensation is poor and based on years of experience vs. actual skill or performance. There is little to no career growth opportunities internally and professional development is non-existent. My department will not invest in the tools I need to do my job.

Pros

Benefits are nice. Insurance covers A LOT. We get discounts to some sports.

Cons

Distribution and processing has a lot of drama and bullying, and leadership ignores this and focuses on the wrong things. If you laugh too loud or are talking while working, the leaders come out and add to your workload. They watch us on our breaks, and have been shady about things this entire year. Turnover is high. Since this position is union, you can't negotiate pay. You're better off going elsewhere or transferring departments once your 6 months are up. The manager also doesn't like feedback from employees over anything he implements, so things will constantly change without us getting a say.
