Pros
Good benefits Great coworkers Remote jobs are common Aron Ain seems like a good leader and a good person.
Cons
The mixed reviews on Glassdoor are representative of the current situation. There are pockets of UKG where the merger is going well and people from both legacy companies are happy and thriving. Then there are other areas of the company where there are serious issues of toxic leadership, misogyny, a lack of diversity (especially in leadership), nepotism/favoritism, understaffing, overwork, and extreme stress. It can feel like no one cares and no one is looking out for us. We haven't been surveyed about how we are doing for a really long time. Leadership did come on a town hall this week to ask us to provide Glassdoor reviews so they can figure out what's wrong, but then they asked us to make sure to do it "on a good day." In some areas of the company, especially on the Legacy Ultimate Software side, people feel disenfranchised and lost. Our amazing leaders whom we loved deeply are gone and we are watching friends that we have known and admired for years leave one by one. For many from Legacy Ultimate, the merger feels like an acquisition. Leadership appears to strongly favor the Legacy Kronites. For example, salaries at Ultimate tended to be lower, which was a tradeoff we accepted because our benefits and culture were so amazing. Kronos leadership has taken over and has given their Kronites all of our benefits (including free medical) but they are not in turn making moves toward salary parity for Legacy UltiPeeps.
