Pros

- I can't think of many pros to be honest. A few seniors managers are good in terms of work allocation. - Work life balance exists, though it may depend on the project.

Cons

- First, the compensation provided to freshers is incompetent. In this current economy, inflation will eat up your entire earnings. They are paying decade old compensation to freshers. It is about time they revise it. - Poor resource allocation: If you are smart enough, they won't assign you challenging projects. You will be stuck with the rest of the talent pool which will stunt your growth. - Maintenance projects : You are assigned maintenance projects when you will be assigned a project. Tech stack may completely depend on the client you are getting. There is limited to no growth for such projects. If you like to challenge yourself and learn more every time, you will get frustrated. To be noted, project allocation takes >5-6 months. - Lack of async culture : Too many pointless meetings. Agile and async are unheard of. - Reimbursement policy : The HR has draconian reimbursement policies that you won't find even in a public sector org.

Pros

I have been associated with UST for almost 12 years, starting my journey as a Tester and currently serving as a Senior Project Manager. Looking back, the growth opportunities provided by the organization have been remarkable. One of the biggest strengths of UST is its people-first culture. The leadership team is approachable, supportive, and genuinely invested in employee success. Throughout my career, I have received continuous encouragement to take on new responsibilities, learn new skills, and move into leadership roles. The company places significant emphasis on employee well-being, work-life balance, and professional development. I have had opportunities to work across different domains, engage with global clients, and grow both technically and managerially. What makes UST special is the trust it places in its employees and the collaborative culture that exists across teams. It’s a place where dedication and performance are recognized, and individuals are given opportunities to shape their own career paths

Cons

As with any large organization, some processes could be streamlined for faster decision-making.
