Pros

Great healthcare benefits and some great former colleagues.

Cons

If you are a company that has been acquired by Unanet you are treated differently than those that apply to work here as a new employee. Start looking for a new job if they acquire your company! This company is all about promoting compensation through title change rather than an earned salary. This I am speaking of in context of to pre-Covid as the company will likely try to justify that they are still paying bonuses as I’ve read in other employee reviews. You will get paid more at a new firm. The salary difference is substantial for outsiders and insiders as well as for women and men. I am a woman with a masters degree and 10 years of CSM experience. A counterpart, male, 5 years CSM experience with a bachelors whom I had to train was offered 20k more for the same job as a new hire. So, by all means if you are a man and new applicant this may be for you, but ladies beware.!!!! A title upgrade is not as valuable as a salary compensation!

First, thank you for your feedback. We never want anyone to feel that they've had a negative experience on our team and I'm disappointed to hear that that has been your experience. Diversity and Inclusion is paramount to our business. Our customers come from all walks of life, and so do our employees. We're proud to be a female-founded technology company that has continued to promote a more equitable representation in STEM, both here at Unanet and in the community. We take internal equity quite seriously, including from a compensation perspective. We appreciate you sharing your opinion and we thank you for your longstanding contribution to our business.

Pros

The people are genuinely amazing. Remote first, flexible culture. Employees are encouraged to experiment, learn, and adapt as the industry evolves.

Cons

Significant restructuring and layoffs seem to happen on a regular basis. Many people are being asked to take on additional responsibilities with fewer resources, often under the assumption that AI tools will offset the workload which it has not yet consistently delivered on. Compensation lags behind market rates and benefits have become less competitive over time.
