Pros
I have been working in all aspects of technology for more than 45 years. I have worked with great leaders and poor leaders and everything in between. I have also learned that change is inevitable and often difficult to those people who have been doing the same thing for the same company for many years.
The new management at Unbound have made many changes to position the company for growth by not being a "me too" solar company but to offer Customer Service and Support first and foremost. That requires change from a "wholesale and lowest price" mentality. In the several years I have worked for Unbound I have seen folks leave because they didn't want to change their positions, their way of doing things, and adapt to the new management's visions. But I have also seen new, great people join the company and work hard to meet the challenges of this change and to help position it to being the best in the business. If you believe in renewable energy and have the drive to success, Unbound is the place to be.
I have worked as a consultant, with Unbound's current CEO at a prior company where he faced similar headwinds and grew the company and made service and innovation a key factor.
Cons
With the challenges in today's marketplace including supply chain issues, recession fears, etc. you need to be prepared to work hard to succeed. But since Unbound is an ESOP, if you stick with it and as the company grows your retirement rewards grow too.
