Pros

The idea is there. I think this company has SOO much potential to be absolutely amazing. There are a lot of passionate people in upper management. There are a lot of members of the team who are amazing and caring and almost made it worth it.

Cons

They are growing wayyy too fast before they have even worked out the kinks in existing camps. Housing was beyond disappointing. Employees were promised nice and quality housing but so many were put into campers and moved around multiple times because they didn't plan accordingly. They have a really hard time keeping and getting quality employees because it's mostly seasonal work. Last year they talked about how terribly things went in the restaurant and down at camp, yet instead of fixing anything about it. They decide to just add more tents to the camp. Which just adds more pressure on a restaurant that isn't built to fit the needs of the camp. The camp itself wasn't even close to ready upon opening and really just led to a bunch of angry guests who paid a lot of money to be there. I was so excited to join this company after my interviews, but was completely let down and surprised when it didn't live up to expectations.

Pros

Located in neat places, locations are very nice.

Cons

U/C at one time was a great place to work. As it slowly became a place for no one allowed other than all younger people. It stated falling apart then. All employees out to get each other. No loyalty among co workers. As far as facilties managers and facility techs; if you can have a hour conversation of the make up of for instance a bolt, and you can talk about how that bolt is so great and how that bolt could last for three hundred years; but noone had any idea of how to attach that bolt. That is what U.C. has become. If you can talk a good game then it doesn't matter if you don't know what your doing. You'll be great at U.C. then.
