Pros

Exposure to global environmental agenda

Cons

International UNVs work equates to P2-P3 level tasks. However, the stipend is way less compared to P2. UNEP hires UNV from underrepresented countries (mostly from developing countries and pays them half of P2 salary. UNEP hires JPOs from developed countries and pays them at P2 level. However, the tasks are equivalent. Many IUNVs work at P-level tasks but underpaid. This is what member states don't know about UNEP young talent pipeline.

Pros

Great multicultural environment with people from all over the world, which creates a very enriching and inclusive atmosphere. Everyone is punctual and colleagues are very chill and easy to work with. The diversity of backgrounds makes collaboration genuinely enjoyable.

Cons

Very resistant to change and innovation. The organization tends to stick to old processes and is reluctant to adopt new technologies or modern approaches. Progress and improvements move extremely slowly, which can be frustrating for those looking to make an impact. its also unpaid which sucks
