The economics of traditional press clipping services was much different 10 years ago. Media monitoring and evaluation pay has increased greatly since 2012 and we provide raises to those team members that help with innovation and improved performance. Our system is a simple merit-based environment, more so know than possibly in the past. We also don't consume nearly as many donuts as we did in the last decade.

Pros

Cool office, decent healthcare, decent pay depending on position.

Cons

Management is frequently late to meetings, causing meetings to lack direction and focus. President of company often has WAY too many projects going at once, leaving no time for proper execution or management of projects. Company is managed by former military personel, so you can imagine how up tight and strict everything is. People frequently fall asleep in certain areas of the headquarters pretty much every day I worked there, management often joked about it, which in turn infuriated most people that actually did meaningful work at the company. Company often lacks a salesmen for whatever reason, which stunted the growth of key departments. There was always massive amounts of internal office drama surrounding pretty much every department. Lack of professional development and investment into employees is glaringly obvious as well.

It is unfortuante when a good team member finds they can no longer perform well in their position. This director did very well in the beginning, but life circumstances seemed to interrupt their growth. However, the level of drama at that time did grow to a point where we had to move some team members off our team, after trying to work with them to eliminate the turmoil they were causing. Company culture is one of the biggest benefits we have, when that culture is harmed by an employee, we will work even harder to mitigate that issue.
