SCAM - Marketing Manager Upscale (FL) Employee Review

The people! The office is full of high earners in the marketing industry. The best part is that they are all open and passionate about coaching others. I love the business trips the most. I just flew back from London with the Consultant for an award show. Idc what anyone says, you’re going to love this company if granted an opportunity. Definitely not an MLM in no way at all. You don’t pay to sign up and there’s no one over you as with MLM. It’s a normal base pay position with commissions in addition.

Interviewing process is a bit tedious and long. However, when it comes to performance based industries, it’s always competitive.

FALSE SALES PITCHING IS ENCOURAGED!!! The leadership encourages salespeople to do whatever it takes to make a sale. Even if it means to take advantage of customers who may be confused, particularly those who are elderly or mentally challenged. I have had direct experience with this while working on the Spectrum campaign, which entails Marketing Assistants stopping and harassing Walmart customers as they come across the electronics section. This experience has given me more confidence in communicating with people through face-to-face indirect marketing. It has been a great help in boosting my self-assurance.

This is NOT a marketing role!!! This is 110% direct sales. This "Marketing Firm" can only thrive through "Wage Exploitation" This "Marketing Firm" is actually a direct sales company that uses unethical practices in order to take advantage of their employees by forcing them to work additional hours without receiving any form of compensation besides commission on sales. Everyday this company pressures their employees into working harder "longer hours" in order to advance in their careers. Wage exploitation take many forms in this company such as underpayment, unpaid overtime & days, and the refusal to pay wages owed. It is an illegal practice and can result in serious legal consequences for the employer. The MARKETING ASSISTANT role is where everyone starts and then gets promoted up the scale. This is the first role of a Pyramid Scheme. If you don't already know what a "Pyramid Scheme" is then google it. I believe the base pay is 25K, plus commission. FYI, I have never received any of the base pay. This job is a total SCAM! They advertise shorter hours and Sundays off, but in reality you are expected to work from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM every single day of the week, Monday to Friday and half days on weekends "Fundays".
