Pros

Office location, fruit delivered to office, nice office (although too small for the growing team), cost price massage, customers generally nice and therapists mostly a good bunch to interact with. Really great product and business idea.

Cons

Company doesn't practice what it preaches, no workplace massage offered for us despite that being a big part of their business selling massage to workplaces. Office is too small and as a result Customer Service shoved in a tiny room with corporate team who are some of the loudest people on the planet. There is a ping pong table but can only really be used by tech team (who have a huge room) and the 'zen room' for relaxing is always used for meetings so cannot be used for its purpose. Customer service equipment not up to spec with the rest of the company.

Thank you for your feedback! We are always trying to make Urban Massage a better place to work for all. We have started to increase the amount of workplace massage offered, with us endeavouring to do this once a month, but we agree, we will try to make this more consistent, alongside the discount on the platform already. We are a fast-growing company, and so space is of prime importance! We have only been in our new office for 7 months, but thanks to our fantastic team we have grown larger than expected. We are reviewing the current arrangements and are looking to reshuffle some things to provide more spaces, with a nicer environment. For example, we’ve move the table tennis table downstairs, so everyone and anyone can enjoy at most times of the day. The Zen room is used for both relaxing and for meetings, again unfortunately due to the size of our team now, meeting room times are getting booked up, therefore when meetings contain confidential information, the zen room is the only alternative. We hope you can understand and accept this, as only confidential meetings occur in the zen room, if they aren’t confidential, some of the group spaces are utilised. Due to the nature of the customer service set up, the tech used is different to the rest, due to shift rotation. We have improved the software used in the last 6 months, and majority of the tech is up to a standard where the customer service team can perform to their best. Again, we appreciate your feedback, and will take this on board and try to improve upon some of the points you have made. Best, Josh
