Pros

Personally, I lucked out with ending up in the Profile Writing department. We have a small team over here and everyone sees you as a person first. Because you're repeatedly working with the same few people over and over again you quickly get to know how creative and intelligent everyone is, and you'll wish you could meet them in person. They'll respect your boundaries, be there when you need advice, and coverage isn't hard to get if you really need it. Everyone is extremely understanding and supportive and all that does is encourage you to pay it forward. You get recognized and celebrated for your individual talents and any feedback is offered with so much grace. The company promotes from within so you know your hard work isn't going unnoticed, and your work life balance remains a solid 10/10. If you genuinely put in the effort, and try to do your best, it pays off extremely quickly. The work in itself is genuinely creative too and urges you to try new things which is rare to find and for those of us who need that stimulation to stay sane—it's perfect.

Cons

While the pay itself is fine, you are paid hourly. That's not so much a con as it is a factor to consider for some. You'll have the luxury of your day being entirely your own because the job is remote, and you don't have to worry about whether you're doing enough. For some, like me, that's perfect. You do your work, log the time, and move on with your day. You pursue your hobbies, take online courses, work on your degree, plant trees, whatever you want. But consider your personal lifestyle and your needs because for some who require a higher income, a second job might be worth looking into.
