Pros

Beginning of my employment at VC, I enjoyed the staff, the CEO, and the pay was fair at time of offer.

Cons

This place quickly went downhill as far as how they treated their staff. If you enjoy being lied to, disrespected, bullied, treated as your incapable or inferior to upper management...please apply. BUT if you are like most people who want to feel valued, supported, have growth opportunity and for your supervisors to not be shady; then stay away! Upper Management needs to look at themselves a lot more closely, and see that they are the issue and that they need to learn how to treat people better and to own up to their own mistakes...or at least be more honest and upfront, right away, with staff.

We are sorry to hear about your experience, but this is not the company culture at Valley Cities. We work hard to create an environment where managers can easily communicate with their team in a caring and passionate way. With 12 locations across King County, it is important for us to have friendly and organized management across all sites.

Pros

Very mission driven. My team is wonderful. Generous time off and holidays.

Cons

It is a tough time to be in the non profit space in WA, especially in community mental health though I believe Valley Cities will weather this and keep those they serve as the focus.
