Seems like the CEO is panicking because the company is going nowhere fast (attrition, always needing to raise money, low valuation, etc). Both he and the wider leadership team are more and more reliant on AI, trusting it as gospel and no longer trusting the team when they give real answers to his questions. Lots of smoke and mirrors.
