Pros
The entire company is Work from Home, so no stigma there.
Cons
- During the interview process, they tout the potential for big bonuses. What they don't tell you is that only the top 2 - 5% performers receive the bonus. I received glowing across-the-board praise for my cultural fit, but was only given 3/5 stars because the manager said he required special permission to give anyone five stars, as it would trigger said bonus.
- There are zero COLA (cost of living) raises on a yearly basis. So you're losing money if you don't get those virtually impossible to.
- The majority of the developers are in Czech Republic, so getting them on a call during working hours is virtually impossible. They do this to save money but all it does is waste the US employees' time (Which is also money, as it turns out).
- A CSM was recently laid off, despite being a top performer (and earner). Management was extremely vague about why he was being let go. I then saw a job posting the next week for the exact same position, but with a 40% lower salary. I saw this trend in other departments, too. Again, they think they're saving money by pinching pennies but the replacements aren't any good.
