Pros

VB is a unique ground where your growth is mostly driven by your own motivation and close collaboration with a really talented, friendly team. As a daily exercise, you will find the leadership, who bring incredible specialized experience from top healthcare organizations, are all open in sharing their perspectives and giving clear advice to help tackling challenging tasks, and they are super hands-on to chip in the delivery of high-standard results. Since it's a startup, there's no pre-written playbook, so you're constantly doing things differently, if you wish, and testing your skills across varied programs. If you want to see what you're truly capable of in an efficient, high-energy environment, this is the place to be. You'll always feel at ease asking for help because the culture is built on mutual development.

Cons

The journey is rewarding, but it definitely comes with conditions. You have to be ready to go the extra mile and step outside your comfort zone. The commitment level is not for someone who just wants to find a peaceful place to "coast". You have to be comfortable with the fast pace and the high bar for deliverables that comes with a high-growth startup.

Pros

From my experience, VentureBlick gives real exposure to international clients and a very global team, as they have offices in multiple countries. You’re involved directly in projects across different overseas markets, and you get to see how healthcare and medtech work actually gets commercialised, with tangible outcomes rather than just consulting and planning. I have to say that people work in different ways here. Some are very driven, some are less. If you’re comfortable taking ownership and figuring things out along the way, you’ll be trusted with responsibility quite early. Overall, I’ve found the culture to be respectful and generally friendly, with direct communication and clear expectations. It would be a good place for those who value ownership, international exposure, and hands-on experience, and are okay working in an environment that’s still evolving.

Cons

This kind of environment isn’t for everyone. There’s a fair amount of change and ambiguity, especially in early days, and not everyone is comfortable with that. Some people realised it wasn’t the right fit for them and moved on, some stay since most beginning. Over the past year, things have felt more stable as the team and business have settled and built a better reputation in the healthcare community.
