Thank you for taking the time to share your detailed feedback. We want to start by thanking you for your dedication and contributions to Veo during your more than three years as a Software Engineer in Copenhagen.
We are glad to hear that you enjoyed our modern tech stack, the fun product we are building, our office environment, and most importantly, the great coworkers you shared your days with. Our engineering team is full of incredibly talented individuals.
At the same time, it is tough to read your feedback regarding the management culture, compensation, and the pressure you experienced around work-life balance and our Return-to-Office (RTO) policy. We take your comments about leadership communication and internal alignment very seriously.
While we are highly ambitious about integrating new technologies like AI to push boundaries, it should never come at the expense of our employee's well-being or create an unsustainable work culture. Your perspective on how these strategic focuses and internal changes have been communicated and felt on the floor gives us important food for thought.
