I worked at Verdiem in 2008 as an intern and it was a great experience. We used agile and scrum. I worked on a project separate from the main application that used C++/gSOAP. It was flexible schedule, very talented people, great office location.
Cons
Due to the downtown location, it wasn't always convenient to find parking.
Good benefits, ORCA card, all the free snacks and drinks you could want. Great product, good people. Senior leadership are all very easy going and easy to get along with. Very smart people.
Cons
Not very transparent. Still seems like they don't know what they want to be when they grow up as a company. Expensive in the marketplace and not very easy to do busy with. Culture was very dog eat dog, not a lot of collaboration, gossip and backstabbing.
