Pros

Great flexibility, with ability to work from home and adjust schedule to accommodate work/life balance. Lots of vacation time - if you can get approval to use it

Cons

Terrible compensation and tiny or no raises each year while cost of living and health insurance continues to rise. They also put off when your raise takes effect until later and later each year. I actually make less money this year compared to last year because of the increase in insurance costs... even after my raise. Teams keep shrinking and the people left behind have to take on more and more work to compensate. This also means less opportunities to use your vacation time, because there wont be anyone left to cover if too many people take the same day off. There's also a general sense of dread and low morale, and how could you not feel this way after watching your coworkers, and sometimes whole departments, get let go year after year. Things have been going downhill for a while now, and my only suggestion would be to get off this sinking ship before it's too late, or you get completely burnt out from having your team cut in half every other year. There is no clear sense of a plan from management, which is pretty obvious when you see them spend thousands of dollars to refresh computers for a whole department and then lay them off before they're even installed, or hold meetings with employees on upcoming projects and then literally lay off half the people in the meeting the very next day. It's chaos here and things are only going to get worse. Get out while you still can.

Pros

This is a great place to grow your career. I've moved multiple times in the company, with a pay increase every time and a more engaging role every time. Benefits are nice.

Cons

There seems to be a disconnect sometimes between the different management tiers, higher ups to plant managers to shift managers and vice versa. It also appears to be slimming down quite a bit on work.
