Pros
Great flexibility, decent pay and good people who do want to make the company better. Strong brand and representation in core market. Good customer base.
Cons
Growth through acquisition means constant integration rather than innovation, and a lack of clear of identity and vision. For a marketer or leader, it also means a single source of truth of customer/prospect data is non-existent making marketing hard. Good people hampered by poor infrastructure and company that didn't take marketing seriously. Lots of experienced heads with long tenure and a risk averse culture makes career development and promotion almost impossible
