Pros

There were no pros at all

Cons

I signed my offer for employment in April of 2023 before graduation. In June my start date was pushed back 2 months. In August my offer was fully rescinded. Each time was called by a new and different HR person. Given a huge run around and was a terrible experience. If you get an offer from here make sure you continue to have a backup plan

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are sorry to hear that this was your experience with Verista. We can certainly understand your disappointment and the inconvenience caused by a delayed and then rescinded offer. As a consulting company, we are only able to employ as we receive new contracts, and 2023 was a year of ebbs and flows in the Life Sciences industry. As we look ahead to 2024, we will continue to review our processes. We wish you great success and happiness in all your future endeavors.

Pros

Offers flexible work schedules and the in-house Verista colleagues are generally kind and helpful. Health Insurance is decent. The company is trying to be proactive in cultivating career development within the organization to stem attrition. Salary is competitive among consulting companies.

Cons

PTO and 401k are subpar, the latter has a long vesting schedule. Constant travel to client sites gets old and so does adjusting to new chaos at client partners (but that's just the nature of consulting). Career development is still lacking and it makes sense to leave once you've reached your role's shelf life.
