Cons
There was recently a change in CEO. With that change, there seems to be a change in focus. Sales is growing in size and influence, and policies are starting to look like policies from 6 years ago. This is demoralizing to the teams who worked to transform the culture to one of measured discipline and thoughtful decisions, Senior Leadership and the C-Suite is like watching Game of Thrones. Decisions are made, not for the good of the company but to ensure their own continued employment. Sadly, this means that Managerial Courage, Standing for What is Right, Integrity and Ethics are cast aside. The culture that made Veritiv an inspirational place to work is eroding and what is left are politicians playing "not to lose" rather than "playing to win." It is disappointing.
