Pros
The main reason to work for this company is the benefits -- VGV offers remote flexibility and generous time off. It's also global, so you get to work with global brands and people. Exposure to different cultures is a big pro if you're interested in learning about other walks of life and working styles. The people are the company's greatest assets -- individual contributors go above and beyond to move the needle forward and grow the company.
Cons
There are a lot of downsides to working at this company and they far outweigh the good. Company management is ego-dominant and out of touch with day-to-day activity and contributions. The company has hitched its wagon to Flutter's exponential growth as an early user and has grown faster and earlier than ready. Management is quick to cast blame to individual contributors with little to no accountability placed on leadership. There has been no priority placed on process building, improvement, and growth. If you're not reading minds or friends with the executive team, expect management to be talking about you behind closed doors. Take a job at this company if you're comfortable sacrificing your mental health for a stepping stone in the technology industry. The culture that's promoted on socials is not what it seems and has been the reason for a lot of turnover.
