Pros

There are some good people and a few unique products.

Cons

Going downhill fast. Lower than average compensation. Internal communication is poor, with marketing, HR, and sales often misaligned or adversarial. Internal support doesn't respond to emails. Overbuilt middle management act as babysitters, Technology systems are substandard and unreliable — CRM platform goes down periodically and does not function well or provide useful information. Does not work in areas of challenged internet (rural areas). No transparency around bonus calculations, and numbers / data is hard to verify. Sales support is minimal with limited materials and no printing allowance. Limited operating funds for clinic training. Morale has been impacted by unexpected layoffs, departures, scrambled and urgent BOGO promotions, and changes in focus. Turnover is higher than almost any other company in the industry.

The only thing that is positive are the benefits.

Cons

Several women have repeatedly reported sexual harassment by a male employee in upper management, yet the company not only keeps him on payroll but has promoted him multiple times, placing him in a significant position of power. Meanwhile, another employee who stole thousands of dollars remains employed, despite clear whistleblower evidence. Both the country manager and HR have neglected to address these serious issues, with multiple lawsuits underscoring this negligence. Employees who make major mistakes face no reprimand and evade accountability. Incompetent individuals are consistently rewarded, while hardworking employees are unfairly burdened with additional responsibilities. The company disregards PTO, frequently contacting employees during their time off for work matters. With high turnover rates, the organization is deeply flawed and warrants thorough investigation. There is also evidence that female employees are paid 20% less than their male counterparts in the same roles. Additionally, numerous cases of married employees engaging in affairs with other married coworkers contribute to a toxic work culture.

Locally and globally, Vetoquinol offers several trusted methods for employees to report issues or voice concerns. Upper management takes all allegations of code of conduct violations seriously, including sexual harassment, theft, and pay inequality. The company immediately investigates such reports and takes the appropriate action. The issues referenced have not been reported or voiced to Vetoquinol USA over the last several years. Vetoquinol annually conducts anonymous surveys of its employees to maintain its "Great Place to Work" certification. Recently, its employees overwhelmingly identified Vetoquinol USA and its management as credible and fair. The survey results provide management with the employees’ perception of management’s integrity, competence and communication practices while also promoting inclusive behavior and its commitment to a fair, safe and discrimination-free working environment.
