Pros

Work life balance is great if you have the right manager

Cons

No accountability, director doesn’t listen to tenure employees, was brought in to “change” culture and profitability but it’s 100 times worse than before. No one does what they are told to do, every day it’s putting out fires with no change.

Pros

Solid pay and benefits, unlimited PTO (and everyone encouraged to take it with specific policies in place). Inviting office culture with plenty of snacks and food. Exciting product developments that really do differentiate from competitors. Growing headcount and a strong business position.

Cons

Most roles are going to have an in-office requirement (4 days in, Fridays remote). This might be a con for some, but after years of being remote, I've enjoyed being back in an office environment. There's also flexibility I've seen (e.g. leaving early if you have to take a kid to a doctor, working from home an extra day if you're going to have a plumber coming to the house), but this probably needs to be more consistently applied.

Pros

Great office culture. Because there is Monday breakfasts and Wednesday/Thursday lunches, people gather all the time. We also have DashPass for the other days. I also appreciate the transparency on how we're doing as a company. We had an all hands meeting and the founders shared our business results and put our initiatives into context. Everyone is friendly and welcoming. The benefits (free for me!) are really good.

Cons

Depends on who you are...we have a 4 d/w hybrid. I actually like coming in but know others would like less. There is no 401K match but we do get RSUs (stock). Their are great managers and not-so-great managers, like all companies (I like mine and like my team). Some managers are not great at setting goals and holding their people accountable to them. Super NOT important but there isn't much around the Irvine or LA offices for food options.
