Pros

Remote Work (you get to work from home with no commute) A few people that I encountered while working were nice.

Cons

Nepotism, Racism, No communication, No Transparency, Jealousy, backstabbing, Unprofessionalism, and No HR, don't exist—empty promises about payroll—unattainable goals, Bonuses that don't exist. Make up policies and rules as they go. Abuse of power. If you don't have mental health problems coming into this employer you will have them when leave. Toxic work environment, Extremely high levels of stress. No incentives for working for a cruise line. Used to get free trips on the ship but they stopped and never said the reason why. Crew members are petty and never listen. Constant complaining by upper management. Fake promotions for people just being nice and having a smile. No credit for employees using your internet usage. No work-life balance. Upper management doesn't care about their employees just work and try to make them money. They care more about cruise line awards than the ones who help run the company. Outsourced jobs to underqualified people who barely can talk on the phone to sailors. Just a bad company to work for. Please stay away. Cruise may be good but the nightmare starts by working for these heartless people. Severely underpaid, Cheap company, Medical benefits are a joke. Cliquish, Rude people who work there as well.

Cons

I don’t usually write reviews like this, but after several years here, I feel it’s important to share an honest perspective for anyone considering joining. This is, without question, one of the most toxic work environments I’ve experienced. The core issue starts with leadership—there’s a consistent disconnect between what’s said and what’s actually done. Employees are constantly told they’re valued and that the company is thriving, yet none of that success ever translates into meaningful investment in the people doing the work. Growth and advancement are especially frustrating. Promotions are often promised but rarely delivered. I’ve personally been here for six years and have only received one promotion, despite consistently strong performance. Meanwhile, those who are part of the “inner circle” or office clique seem to move up almost automatically, sometimes every year. It creates a culture that feels less about merit and more about favoritism and politics. Compensation is another major issue. The workload continues to increase, expectations are high, and employees are routinely overworked—yet there’s little to no adjustment in pay, raises, or benefits to reflect that. It often feels like the company relies on goodwill and empty promises to keep people pushing forward. Communication from leadership tends to be overly polished but lacking in substance. There’s a pattern of setting expectations about future opportunities or improvements that never materialize. Over time, it erodes trust and morale. The environment overall is heavily driven by office politics. Collaboration and transparency take a backseat to navigating personalities and alliances, which makes it difficult to focus on doing good work or feeling genuinely supported. If you’re looking for a place where hard work is recognized, growth is real, and leadership is transparent, this likely isn’t it.
