Pros

There are a handful of truly wonderful people at VSI. The kind that almost make it worth dealing with the more prevelant bad eggs. The doctors do truly care about the patients, which is inspiring and motivating. The healthcare benefits are good, and having fitness classes on site is nice.

Cons

They show little respect or appreciation for their staff outside of one or two "events" a year, where they attempt to make up for the blatant disregard the other days of the year. They would rather work good loyal people to death than spend the money to properly staff the office, which is basically held together by a mixture of drama and ego. Favortism is highly utilized, but watch your back because you're just as likely to be thrown under the bus at any given moment. Trust, honesty and transparency are lacking severely.

Pros

Most of my colleagues were incredibly supportive, talented, and easy to work with. The team culture among peers was one of the highlights of my time there.

Cons

Management shows clear favoritism, which creates an uneven and often frustrating work environment. There is excessive micromanagement that stifles autonomy and trust. The culture doesn't support a healthy work-life balance, long hours are common.
