Pros

1) Maybe a small company culture 2) Basic overview of pharma forecasting

Cons

I hope I don't miss out any since this section is going to be lenghty: 1) 7 people sitting in a room does not make a "company". There is absolutely no system of tracking people, projects or appraising people here. Everything is done randomly 2) There is a clique of 3-4 older employees (in terms of tenure in the company) who are only there to protect their turf and can be nasty with anyone who challenges them 3) Humiliation of the newer people is a regular phenomenon here. Oblique references, demeaning jokes are the order of the day 4) The "older folks" have decided to take the CEO for a ride and the CEO also does not care to even visit the office whenever he visits India (does it quarterly). 2 people are the eyes and ears of the CEO 5) Number of projects are quite less and they show fake expertise to the clients and end up making a mockery in front of the client 6) Attrition is super high. There has to be a reason as to why the headcount in India could not even reach 10 even after 8 years since the company started operations in India 9) Jokers are touted as "leaders" here and find a place in the "Leadership" section of the company. Please do visit to have a good laugh 10) The "older folks" have much higher salaries than the other guys even at same or even lower designations 11) In short, please do not join this company even if you are unemployed, wait for a proper company to offer you a job

Pros

*I can only speak about my own experience, and it does not align with the negative claims made by the supposed Viscadia employees on here.* Every company inevitably experiences periods of change and Viscadia is no exception. This can be a tricky time for employees who expect companies to play a larger role in their career development and trajectory. As Viscadia grows, the company has instituted and is working to formalize processes that are common elsewhere. It's a great place to work if you are motivated to learn, take on new responsibilities and challenges, and develop as a professional and leader. My colleagues are all sharp, committed and there’s a lot of great energy here.

Cons

Viscadia does need to develop internal professional development programs that provide newly promoted staff with a greater understanding of what is expected of them at that level. Clarity around expectations will provide staff with empowerment and a baseline of understanding from which to gauge their own performance.

Pros

On the positive side, I've observed a much healthier work culture in the India office location, and most positions are semi-remote.

Cons

Overall, I've found that the work environment in the US offices could benefit from a stronger sense of community and support. There is strong room for improvement in fostering a more encouraging atmosphere. One key area that could be enhanced is the empowerment of team members by the leadership. There is an unfortunate tendency toward micromanagement and belittlement, which has been a serious concern for many of us. It is toxic and mentally/physically draining I believe a more empowering leadership style could positively impact the overall work experience. Another aspect worth addressing is the sentiment of feeling drained and isolated among team members. Lack-luster health benefits, little work life balance, and poor diversity.
