There is nothing good about this company.

Cons

I was told by Proman agency that my job title would be as an order picker. Management didn't train me to be an order picker instead they have me do something else. I started Monday March 30th 2026 and worked there unit Friday April 3rd 2026.Just for a week. Today as of Saturday April 4th Proman texted me and said that my assignment with company is finished there for i can not continue working at Visual comfort in Skokie illinois any longer. Do not waste your time going to this kind of place to work, as matter of fact do not go through any agency to get a job. Go directly through a company to get hired. This company is a joke. It's a revolving door where people are coming and going left and right. They don't train people. It's a toxic environment. Very very very strict and a low paying job. And I heard very low pay increase if you survive at this bogus place. Next day you might not have a job. Also there is favoritism to a certain people. Bottom line is "JUST DO NOT EVEN THINK ABOUT IT"

Pros

- Under normal circumstances, pay and bonuses are within reason. - Beautiful office. - You are able to make what you want out of your career if you are the type of person to assert yourself and show interest.

Cons

- Customer Service can be a black hole. The expectations are endless and without direction. No matter what type of effort you make, it will always seem like you are being punished. - Heavy workload with long, hours which can include working 6-7 days a week. - Training is little or non-existent. The training can best be described as a blind person leading another blind person through a busy traffic intersection. - Upper management is terrible at communicating both within customer service as well as other departments. - Despite constant concern and feedback regarding workloads and moral, the constant response could be summed up as “deal with it”. - A member of management had unfortunately passed away suddenly, and the chain of events/communication both during and after the event could be described as callous.
